Planning & Zoning Commission

The powers and duties of the Planning and Zoning Committee (P&Z) shall be to hold hearings, conduct investigations and:

1. make recommendations to the City Council relative to changes and amendments to the zoning regulations of the City;

2. approve or disapprove proposed plats of subdivisions of land within the City and land within five (5) miles of the City (the extraterritorial jurisdiction); and

3. make recommendations to the City Council relative to the future plans and developments of the City.
